Loaded USB drivers, downloaded Odein3 v3.13, downloaded LOS20 from first post. Next day: I moved to a different pc and repeated the steps above. Any ideas? No one seems to be having this issue on this thread. The OEM install worked fine, the AP install of LOS20 does not. it continually fails on the Recovery.img install (Complete write operation failed). No matter what I try, changing USB ports, resetting Odin etc. I am using the same md5 tar file as I used on the first tablet. Now when trying for about 20 times I cannot get past Odin installing the Recovery.img on the second tablet. I was able to install the OEM version on the second tablet with no problem. Everything is working correctly on this tablet and it has even been rooted. Then with difficulty I got the LineageOS 20 ROM to install on one tablet. One of them I was able to get the Odin app to work with the OEM install. But props to devs for giving a new life to my tablet I am using graphene os as a go to device with my pixel, so I was kind of baffled by the entire process. I spent so much time on the loop with OEM Unlock that it gives me creeps when I think of removing the google services either by replacing the release Tobsucht mentioned or by using adb. Followed the steps from the first post and reflashed with Odin. Went to Download mode (KG state was not any longer prenormal but checking)Ĥ. When I finally noticed the toggle was visible I managed to flash it.ģ. I had to perform some tricks with advancing time/date set, toggling Wifi switch, checking for updates and rebooting a couple of times. I had to make the toggle for OEM Unlocking appear (even if it boot was opened but it was not even grayed out). And this is where I failed, thinking it is enough. Turned on USB debugging in Developer OptionsĢ. Had to reflash with the official releases after some miserable fails.ġ. Perhaps my steps help other to over come it.Ġ.
